Creative

conceptualizes and executes professional-caliber photoshoots, styling, and theme development for BARE’s print magazine, social media, and website.

Directors: Lucas Santana, Magnus Dorre, & Angelina Costa
Editorial

writes the content for BARE’s print magazine, in addition to online articles on topics of writers’ choosing. Members typically commit to 2 hours/week, increasing to 3-4 hours during final draft season. Open to writers with any kind of background—we can’t wait to meet you!

Directors: Maia Lee & Mya Oro
Design

is responsible for print magazine layout, merchandise, and website art, collaborating closely with Editorial and Creative to bring the final publication together. Members typically commit to 3 hours/week, increasing to 8-12 hours during layout week.

Web 

unites UI/UX principles, art, and tech to establish BARE’s online promotion and presence. Web is a tight-knit team and typically commits to 1 hour per week. No prior experience is needed.

Marketing 

is in charge of BARE’s social media campaigns and recruitment materials. Marketing creates edits, graphic designs, and photography shoots.

Artist Fund

handles BARE’s philanthropic fund for underrepresented UC Berkeley artists. They host fundraising events, review scholarship apps, and distribute funds to grant winners.

Operations

organizes public relations, parties, and fundraisers for BARE behind the scenes.

Directors: Bailey Chang & Dominique Scott
Finance

operates at the intersection between the arts and business, handling all monetary aspects of BARE as well as brand partnerships and sponsorships.
